A poem about the Celtic goddess, The Morrigan
Phantom Queen, Goddess of war
One in three and three in one
Her sisters are no more
Blackest black, in feathers draped
Mist and cloud, thunder skies
Cruel lips on snow white face
The Morrigan! The Morrigan!
Ravens sing her song
The Morrigan! The Morrigan!
Welcome her and run
Courage and fear, beauty and awe
Leads the way through dark and light
Earth is cleared once more
Signs of death, paths to light
Who can know the fate she brings?
Death gives way to life
The Morrigan! The Morrigan!
Ravens call her name
The Morrigan! The Morrigan!
New life will be reclaimed
Phantom Queen, Goddess of war
One in three and three in one
Her sisters are no more
Blackest black, in feathers draped
Mist and cloud, thunder skies
Cruel lips on snow white face
The Morrigan! The Morrigan!
Ravens sing her song
The Morrigan! The Morrigan!
Welcome her and run
Courage and fear, beauty and awe
Leads the way through dark and light
Earth is cleared once more
Signs of death, paths to light
Who can know the fate she brings?
Death gives way to life
The Morrigan! The Morrigan!
Ravens call her name
The Morrigan! The Morrigan!
New life will be reclaimed
