Written for a friend, and the spiders that share his home.

In a far away land in a house by the sea
There are spiders with magical feet
By day you can see them spinning their webs
Which keep everything tidy and neat

But when the sun's set and the moon's out to play
And the rest of the world is asleep
That's when the spiders stop spinning their webs
And do fantastical things with their feet

For these spiders can skip and these spiders can dance
And play music with all of their toes
And one clever spider called Archibald Brown
Plays the banjo with only his nose

So if  you hear music from far away lands
It won't be your mind making mischief
For you'll know if you've passed by the house by the sea
It's the spiders of old Aberystwyth
