Inspired by the prompts for day 2 and day 10 - a poem that tells a lie and an un-love poem.

I love those little texts you send
Thirty times a day
And the way you second guess my thoughts
Without listening to what I say
And how nice that you want to see me
Come rain, come shine, come hail
I'll never be lost and lonely
With you hanging on my tail

I'm so glad that you'll love me forever
Though we only met last week
And it's wonderful to be worshipped
With you bowing at my feet
I'm grateful for all the presents
And the flowers and cards and meals
What a shame that your attentions
Were not based on something real
